VIA Developments is excited to announce its support for Fort Financial Credit union as it opens the doors at its newest Fort Wayne branch today. The new credit union branch is located at 3850 W. Jefferson Blvd., at the corner of Jefferson Blvd. and Illinois Road in front of VIA Developments Parkwest Shopping Center in Fort Wayne
The full-service branch features an open lobby with two private offices, two drive-up lanes and an exterior ATM. “We are thrilled to be elevating our presence on the southwest side of Fort Wayne,” said Steve Collins, President and CEO at Fort Financial. “It marks the third and final branch construction project Fort Financial has undertaken recently to improve our member experience and position the credit union for future growth.”
The Parkwest branch is open six days a week. Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00-5:00, Friday 9:00-6:00 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. The drive-up is open Monday through Thursday 8:30-5:30, Friday 8:00-6:00 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
The credit union marked the branch’s opening with a ribbon cutting today with Greater Fort Wayne Inc.

The new branch on the southwest side of the city marks the third new location Fort Financial has opened in Fort Wayne in the past five months. The credit union opened a new corporate headquarters on Lima Road at the beginning of 2023 and a new branch at the corner of Maplecrest and St. Joe Center Roads in northeast Fort Wayne in November 2022.
Design Collaborative was the architect for all three branches. Hagerman Construction was the general contractor for all locations.
With the opening of the Parkwest branch, the credit union closed its branch inside the southwest Fort Wayne Meijer store on Illinois Road.
Founded in 1946, Fort Financial Credit Union is headquartered in Fort Wayne, Ind. It serves 25,000 members from branches in Indiana, Mississippi and North Carolina providing personal and business banking and lending services.
